School Visits: Explore the World, Reading & Writing
Shannon regularly presents to Pre-K through 5th grades. School programs are tailored to the grade level(s) and run 60 minutes followed by a book signing. Her energetic, interactive and kid-friendly programs can include:

A Little About Shannon
Shannon’s love of travel began at a young age. It opened her eyes and ears to the world. As a grownup, living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with her husband Paul and kitty KeeKee, the idea for KeeKee’s Big Adventures was born. After twenty-five years in the marketing field, Shannon is on her new adventures, following her passion for writing and excited to be helping kids in their quest for learning and discovery.
Schedule Your Event
A full-day school visit can include up to 4 assemblies or presentations and Pre-K/K reading, ideal for keeping the appropriate grade levels together (half-day allows for 2 assemblies). Shannon can also do Author Nights, International Days / Nights, Bedtime Stories Events and more!

Event fees vary from a full-day school visit honorarium to a combination and book sales (see below). If more than 30 miles from Sarasota, FL, travel, and lodging expenses may be needed.

Book Sales
As students are often eager to have a signed copy of a KeeKee book, we encourage books sales and signings by the author. We can take care of the book sales for you in a super easy way. Or you can work with your local bookstore.
We offer the KeeKee books at the wholesale price to schools, 40% off retail or $10.19 per book. You can either sell the books for the retail price of $16.99 to raise funds for your school / pay for the school visit fee, or you can sell for the $10.19 wholesale price passing the savings onto the students and families.
We provide a customized order form for your school to send home with students. Students bring their payment the day of the event and we’ll have the books to fulfill their orders and for Shannon to sign.
All you have to do is send the forms home and collect them the day of the event with payment attached.
