Why do you love Cruising?

First off, you only have to pack once for your vacation, and as a mom of a big family, that’s a big deal.

The ship itself is its own destination with so much for everyone to do, all ages and capabilities. My 12-year-old son has special needs, and there are so many things for him to do onboard.

Then you visit different destinations and have so much to explore.

Royal Caribbean caters to families all the way through.

I love that all the onboard activities are included in your price, even Royal Caribbean’s Adventure Ocean kids club. Kids from 6 months to teenagers can go, and all ages love it. It’s also great for Moms and Dads as they can then have time along and date nights out.

The accommodations on board are also amazing. There are even staterooms that accommodate up to 14 guests.

Tell us about your family’s Royal Caribbean cruise adventure?

Our family of six sailed on Harmony of the Seas for a 7-night cruise to Labadee island in Haiti, St. Maarten, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

We had two balcony staterooms for our family, so the teenagers had their own space. We could relax on our balcony while the little ones napped and teens out enjoyed the ship.

Not only did the kids have so much fun onboard the ship, but they also got great experiences and educations from the different islands we visited.

On St. Maarten, we rented a jeep and explored the island like a local. In San Juan, we rented a private van with a driver for the day, and he showed us all over the island.

Royal Caribbean’s Youth staff have autism training which was wonderful for my son, and it just made it a wonderful vacation for the whole family.
